Scott C. Withrow's primary area of practice is corporate and securities law. He is also a Certified Public Accountant with prior work experience at a big six accounting firm. His practice includes mergers and acquisitions, public and private securities offerings, franchises, taxation, corporate finance, partnerships, limited liability companies, and joint ventures.

Mr. Withrow is a member of the Atlanta and American Bar Associations, the State Bar of Georgia, the Georgia Academy of Health Care Attorneys and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is an active member of the American Bar Association's Committees on Closely Held Entities and Partnerships. He serves as a director of Attorneys for Family Held Enterprises, and frequently speaks and writes on the subject of family businesses.

Mr. Withrow received his undergraduate degree in accounting (B.S.) from the University of Virginia's McIntire School of Commerce in 1979. He earned his law degree (J.D.) from Vanderbilt University in 1984. Mr. Withrow has worked on numerous acquisitions, the largest of which exceeded $200 million. He has been involved in a variety of corporate finance transactions, including initial public offerings. In addition, he has developed a significant and growing practice in the health care area. Mr. Withrow has written a book entitled Managing Healthcare Compliance which has been published by Health Administration Press, the publishing arm of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
